the christmas lights of leavenworth

Last christmas in 2006 we went to leavenworth to see the christmas lights. This is a big thing to do in Washington State. People come from all over the State to see these lights, as far away as Seattle. It is also a very popular tourist location. Check it out

this was luke in the Cashmere soccer team in october 2005. This really helped him to settle into the new culture of the USA. He thought Americans didnt play much soccer, but he's played more here then in England Posted by Picasa

luke just loves dogs

If luke had he's way he would have taken that little German Shephard home with him. Alas ,he didnt. Maybe in the future we may see such a dog in our home Posted by Picasa

Flyfishing with Gary at Jameson lake

Gary is an avid outdoorsman and has endeavoured to take me to different fishing spots to catch some fish. Unfortunately I have not even caught a cold.

Im learning to flyfish

It has been one of my desires to learn to flyfish and to visit the different lakes and rivers ,with my sons Daniel an Luke, in Washington State. Friends have started to teach me and take me to some great lakes. I want to share my journey with you.
If you ever get a chance to watch the film "A River Runs Through It, "its a great intro into flyfishing in Montana. It also has a moral story.

flyfishing trip to Quincy lake with Andy Robinson

This was my first flyfishing trip with my mate Andy Robinson(check out his Blog site). It was March 2006 and the weather was abit cold, but it was a great experience.

We didn't catch anything, not even a bite, but we will persevere. Fishing off the canoe was great and Andy encouraged me constantly as I was learning to cast. I lost a couple of flies in the process
